Please read our simple rules:

1.    There are several ways to bid.  You can bid using a bid sheet (pdf 152k) (mail or email), you may phone in your bids, or you can bid online here at USAmericanaAuctions.com.  Mail and email bids must be received by midnight, PST, on May 22nd, 2017.

2.    LOTS CLOSE INDIVIDUALLY.  Any lot that has no bids or one bid will close at 7pm, Wednesday, May 24th.  All other lots will be put on a 30-minute clock beginning at 7pm.  Once a lot goes 30 minutes without a bid, that lot will close.  If a bid is placed on any lot during its 30 minute period, the clock on that lot will reset to 30 minutes.  Only higher competing bids will reset the clock, a current high bidder upping their max bid on a lot will not.

3.    Phone and online bids accepted while the lot is open.  The current high bid will be revealed and you may increase that bid to the next acceptable increment.

4.    Only specific bid amounts are acceptable.  Please refer to the table below for acceptable bid amounts.  Bids received between acceptable increments will be raised to the next acceptable increment.

5.    The minimum acceptable bid on any lot is ½ of the high estimate.

6.    You can request a call back on items which have a current high bid of $500+.

7.    In the case of tie bids, the first received take precedence.

8.    A value estimate follows the description of each lot.  Bid higher or lower per your discretion.

9.    All lots are guaranteed authentic and as described.

10.    Ten day return privilege for any lot incorrectly described.

11.    Payment is due upon receipt of invoice.  Extended payment is allowed if bidder has made arrangements with the auctioneer in advance.  However, any lots not paid for in full within 30 days after the close of the auction lose return privileges, except in the case of a dispute concerning the authenticity of an item.

12.    Only our actual cost of postage and insurance will be added to each invoice.  There are no additional packaging or handling fees.  Most packages will be mailed via the U.S. Postal Service.  Oversized packages (over one cubic foot) will be shipped FedEx Ground.

13.    Buyer’s fee of 15% will be added to the winning price of each lot.

14.    Arizona residents will be charged 8.1% sales tax unless valid Arizona resale information is provided.  Resale forms sent upon request, or you can download one here .

15.    Acceptable forms of payment: check, money order, cashier’s check.

16.    The placement of a bid constitutes acceptance of these rules.
